Hi,
All you need to do is enable recording say on an Impulse track to play.
Then you can use also the Enigma software that comes w/ the TF.
You can assign clips to pads by selecting the midi keys (upright in Live).
HAve fun
PS: there's presets for live already to control 2 Impulses

do you have windows xp "media center edition"?
the trigger finger doesnt work with windows xp media center edition. there are ways to convert it to xp pro but it doesn't guarantee the trigger finger will work.

ALSO go and download Enigma from the M-audio website. that fixed my problem after I went into the midi options in live

Ok it took 2 months of me pounding my head on a wall to get over this hurdle.
Go update the driver, select "No I will install the driver from a specific location" then install the M-audio driver.
If the MSN midi driver loads it will not be recognized in Live.

DL the M-audio drivers, and manually install them. It will work, however the first time it can be a pain to get up and running.
Cheers!
