Darkness Ensues has a kind of Black Metal vibe with the guitars. Having a listen to the others now.

Yeah seemed quite alright to me.
The only black metal I really loved was Emperor, havent listend to them for ages though - must find where I put the cds.

im very much into dimmu borgir.
i like your rocktron zombie soud.
Im backing,wish and downfader blues also are pretty good.
Blu State is also sounding good so far.

I've only heard two Borgir tracks. One was amazing with orchestral beauty and thrashing, crashing guitars! The other was rubbish and was a very early track i think.
I once read a magazine article about american "black metal". Today is the Day were lumped in there. Love that band, but never thought of them as such.
