MidiControlers to be supported?

My wishlist:

I had a look around on the internet and
the best MidiControler i could find is the Doepfer Pocket Dial.
In the moment i use a Phatboy, was looking for a
NI 4Control but it just hasn't got enough knobs.
The Pocket Dial would be my new investment... hopefully
AL (Ableton Live) will be able to use the
incremental and decremental data generated by the Doepfer Pocket Dial.
It's realy worth it.

Thanks on behalf,
May the music be with you!

hi.

the pocket dial works with no problems in Live. Doepfer send us one some weeks ago and we tested it without problems. Have you allready seen the new pocket dial in silver-grey?

Ola,

But does Live recognizes the controlling with relative MIDI values?
If that's the case, i think i have to reserve some money to buy that Pocket Dial.
That silver-grey one is realy flashey :p

Let the midi controler be with you!

support for motormix?

i\\\'d say: the cm motormix. it\\\'s more expensive than most midicontrollers but it mimicks the layout of live perfectly. of course it would require live to support bidirectional communication...

any plans to support the motormix, ableton?

interesting theme you are talking about.

so, how about the ibk 10 control (www.ibk-midi.de)?
this is something like the big brother of the 4control and has a lot of more features, like 10 endless knobs, 10 buttons, 100 preset pages and lcd display for every knob, so you can always see, wich parameter you are controlling at the moment! it controls all parameters jump free, but for that, "the soft- or hardware to be controlled must be able to send initial values and it must keep the 10Control updated if the soft- or hardware itself changes a value".

does ableton support this yet?

if not, would be very great for the future.

The motormix is supported in the current version.
Caveats:

1. You must run the motormix in protools mode;
2. the buttons are not yet supported.
