What's up guys. I just finished a track the other day, and I'm really happy with it, so I figured I'd post it and see what you think about it. Really any comments appreciated, as always, but especially about the EQing and overall sound. Don't have a good set of monitors yet, so let me know how it sounds on your set up.
Here's a quick overview of the track. The first section is more of a chill/ambient/slow build which culminates with the first statement of a melody, and then for the second part is more of a prog. house/trance groove that I had a ton of fun with. The two distinct sections are separated by this weird grain delay/atmospheric thing into a fermata right before the kick drops in the second section.
You can download the song from my music freedom page here, located under "untitled album," or you can just download it directly here
Thanks!
jake
