Both works in progress. Done all in Ableton using some reason sounds.
Any input is welcome.
Thanks!

Just had a quick listen to some of your songs. I like 'depression' a lot. good strings. I like the mix of acoustic and electric in some of your other tunes. Good bass sound in quagmire.

LOL! Just realised how carefully you wrote that. Good use of quotation marks for clarity.

Really dig frogmen. really well structured, lots of space for each element.
Great use of movement in the filters.
So much goes on over the whole track overall but never feels like any particular elements are struggling with one another. Good use of the familiar elements to tie all the different parts together throughout..
nice man...

Thanks man! I appreciate it very much.
Had a listen to your tunes on myspace. Nice production. Everything's very clear and precise. How do you get it so loud? All my experiments with compressors and whatnot can't get close to the level of clarity and dynamics yours has...

Glad you like the tracks, got so much to still learn :) I can see this is pretty much never ending, good thing its so much fun to do :)
Hey man, its just compression and some EQing.
I just use the EQ 8 in ableton and the Compressor 1 with a ratio of about 3, I vary the attack and release depending on the effect I want to it have on each instrument etc....
Theres also a little bit of about 1/4 wet saturation on some things
Also I run T-Racks over the master channel at the end with EQ, Compression etc and that warms it up and brightens the top end nicely.
