hi pink,
thats at least two of us.
this shit has got to stop, we can finally be in control of our own destinies as musicians.
we have to rise up to this occasion otherwise we will be slaves to apple, microsoft and newscorp forever.

actually i take pleasure in the fact murdoch had to spend a billion dollars on a shitty coded site.
the mainstream media have provided all the tools to destroy themself with.
why not use it against them?

oh that's right, there isn't any advertising revenue in myspace, I keep forgetting that
haha, alright. So what do you propose we do, mr. Subversive?
The problem with subverting the mainstream together is that any steps we take to do so will be counterproductive by definition, bro.
Still all in, but where's the juice?

communication will remain the key we need to create a unified platform which people can use to get their messages out.
ways for people to promote themselves without the need for the mainstream.
or even better yet, create networks that can work together to manipulate the mass media.

i do appreciate your cynicism,
the same advertising models can be exploited.
so what if newscorp get advertising money, thousands of musicians have had a chance to be heard, newscorps greed is helping destroy their other buddies.

I'm definitely listening... mmmhmmm.
So we apply guerilla tactics and subversive, like in the olden days. Nice. Alright. Did I mention I was in?

Soon there will be no "mainstream" anymore. We are quickly heading towards just "stream". It has already started with the internets, but who knows where it'll end?
"Mainstream" will soon be a quaint little term used in reference of a bygone era...much like "alternative music" is now.

you can change the media, but there will still be a demand for hatred, violence, female objectification- while the media perpetuates hatred, stereotyping, absolutist thinking, etc, there is a market for it because several thousands want to watch it.
