HELP! (Altering the levels in a pre recorded DJ mix)

Hi everyone, i am new on here and would really appreciate somebody's help regarding this issue :D

I have just recorded a Dj mix in ableton 6 and one of the tracks is too quiet from the point the mix in starts, to the point where it drops and the outgoing tune ends.

I saved the live set and all i am wanting to do is to go back into it and turn up the volume on this one block of audio that represents that tune. I have messed around a bit and the block highlights itself luminous green and sets parameters, but only for 2 bars. I just want to set those parameters for the whole block and turn it up and save the changes.

I hope this makes sense, sorry if i havent explained it very well. Any help would be massively appreciated as i dont want to have to record the entire mix again.

Thanks very much in advance, Paul :D

Suggesting that you recorded your mix in arrangement view on two different tracks it is easy to automate the track volume for that title.

Just choose "mixer" in the corresponding track as parameter 1 (below track name) and as parameter 2 "track volume" in the field below.

Define 2 breakpoints before and 2 breakpoints after the track by double clicking. Afterwards select the track volume line in the middle (it gets blue with my skin) and drag it to the new level.

hope this helps
