Ableton Forum

My buffer setting seems to be acting a little strange... At 45 out of 2048 on my Osonic its the clearest it can be which right now is almost all crackles and hiss. I set it higher and it goes into a bitreduced signal that sounds like it from a 4bit sampler.
I cant figure it out...
I have a Imac 24" with 2 gigs of ram and am using 6.10 and 6.09
Help please
