I love chorizo. Never a day went by that wasn't improved by enjoying the fruits of the pig.

Last time i was in Barcelona i was hanging out in this great Tapas Bar like, every friggin night...
Since then im addicted.
I dig anchovis, filled olives and annoying stinky cheese too!

My favorite mexican restaurant makes this awesome quesadilla with chicken and chorizo and cheese, with pico de gallo and guacamole, lettuce, tomato... it's like 2 lbs but totally worth the misery it puts your stomach through for the rest of the day

I just finished a short vacation (had a two week leave pass) in Eastern Europe; Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany.

The Salamis were amazing, particularly in Hungary. Very heavy on the Paprika.

Mmm, chorizo + scrambled eggs + warmed up tortillas = BREAKFAST BURRITO HEAVEN! Good stuff for sure, hard to find some times in my area, surprising for the number of hispanics in my arealocal towns.....

Before I was veggie I lived amongst a hispanic family and enjoyed many fine treats.

But I never found Chorizo very appealing, just kinda red greasy sausage without much flavor.

But now that I've been vegan, I've started getting into Soyrizo, there's even an authentic family run cart that makes amazing vegan nachos with soyrizo, vegan cheeze, vegan sourc creme, the works, for like 5 bux....

i agree, addictive, luv it. Make a pasta sauce with sour cream. I could quite happily eat it every meal!

Hah! Had to reply to this as chorizo is my snack of choice for songwriting-sessions :) I've been going on about the merits of it to all who would listen....

I'm going to let you in on another secret writing-session food:
Step one: Obtain white chocolate-covered Oreos (Bañadas)
Step two: Make a cup of strong Irish tea (Lyons or Barrys should do the trick). This is an essential part of the process.
Step three: Dip aforementioned Oreo halfway into tea and bite. This will taste good.
Step four: Dip half-Oreo into tea, being careful not to burn self's fingers (although the pain can be worth it for maximum Oreo dippage).
Step five: Take comfort in the knowledge that you have arrived at Taste Nirvana. Consult some oracles and then proceed to write an amazing tune!!!
