Using an EMI 2|6?

Some people do well with it, some people don't. Currently, I'm one of the latter, though I think XP might have something to do with it, so I'll try it on Win2000 before trying something else.

I'd like some feedback from others who use or have used this device - it would be useful info for all of us.

i noticed that emagic have os x drivers for the 2|6 on their website now, has anyone had the chance to try these with live? i've been thinking of buying a 2|6, but holding off for os x support, so i\'d be interested to hear how it performs.

seems to be the same os x firmware loader they had before as beta... still can't configure multiple outs, and still is unreliable with load > 60%. maybe 10.2 will solve the multiple out problem...

I have used Emi 2|6 in the XP environment and
had no problems, this is a great product for live performance.

so this product would work well live and with an iMac, I tought latency was an issue with this product. I'm interested, better than spending $650 on the 828. How well does it work, I would need it to link my warp Factory, Mo-Fx and Eq Killer and Filter Queen and maybe a Linn Drum. I wanna know more from the peeps who own this product. Spence Mckay

I've only heard horror stories about that one, particularly on notebooks, seem to work fine on desktops PCs --- don't own one myself though...
