Hello !

I prepared a Live Set with midi tracks containing each an instrument Rack ; Then I assigned the 8 knobs of my Trigger-Finger to the Macrocommands of the racks. Works perfect when I load instruments.

But when I tweak knobs, they apply changes on every tracks in the same time, even if none of them are armed. In fact I'd like to tweak ONLY the CURRENT ARMED track, is this possible ?

Well... impossible, I guess...

you need user scripts. take a look in:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\Ableton\Live 6.0.7\Preferences\User Remote Scripts
(on pc - should be something similar on mac...) and read the text files in there (they might be in a folder inside that...) as they explain themselves pretty much. basically that lets you set up automapping scripts so you can use the same 8 knobs to control any macro/plugin. it's not as straight forward as select a track and ALL knobs work on that track for you though. but, it's not bad, have a play around and look through the forums for more info as it's not in the live manual at all...

essentially it describes how you can set up more than one user script for the one controller to get better functionality out of it.

from what i've read in your original post you seem to have midi assigned all of your controls to macros, which will change all macro's simultaneously as that the way midi assignments work. the idea behind that is that you can be looking at one thing but controlling (for example) 4 others if you want. with the user scripts you can set all or part of your controller up to control the current macro/effect/vsti etc... you can also lock different scripts to different things (right click on and effect etc's titlebar... it should say something like 'lock to script x') giving you the best of both worlds really.
