Tempo slowing down momentarily - anyone else?

Using Live 6.05 at a gig, I noticed the tempo slowing down momentarily (over about one beat @ 142 bpm) about 5 or six times during the session. There were a few glitchy retriggering sounds at 3 or 4 moments also.

It's something that hasn't happened much - only once before and at less intensity. (btw I'm on Win XP SP2)

Normally Live's tempo is totally solid.

Things that I had changed from my normal procedure were:

I had the laptop booted up on stage for 4 hours before I played - which was unusual for me - usually I just boot up 30 mins before I play.

Also I had bounced the whole 90 min set to a single .wav audio file (approx 850 meg) before I played, and loaded it up into a wav file player as a backup in case the computer died mid-performance.

I didn't reboot after this, so I wondering if there was a memory leak problem or something? (I'm no coder btw...)

Anybody else noticed this or something similar on their systems?

Cheers,
bagginz

Sounds like a similar probelm many people have had. It always seems to happen if you leave live for a while. I usually boot up 10 mins max before playing, and try and trigger as many clips as I can before going on. Very rarely get more than a single small glitch these days in a 2hr set.

Hello capo-wear-i,
thanks for your reply...

Anyone else able to shed any more light on this?

Cheers,
BIil
