Problems with Yamaha PSR730

I'm just trying to get my Keyboard to talk to my Live 6.
Why can't I hear anything in or out on Midi.
Also, have installed lessons/Live packs but clicking on them does nothing.
I have the vista 32 system and have installed the update for this.
Help please anyone.
