I have sent a few e-mails and called ableton few times and all i get is the busy signal and no timely response. Could you please tell my Why Live Lite 6 on windows xp pro sp2 will install but will not run. Every time i click the icon to start Live Lite 6 it starts scanning and then a LIVE MESSAGE box pops up and says(The Folder F:\F:\\ was not found).I tried to install the 5 demo and i got it to run but i bought Live Lite 6 and the seral # isn't going to wrok their. That is my problem and i would be very greatful for your tech support. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my letter

You should locate and delete the Preferences.cfg file. Then Live should reset its Preferences and start normally. The file should be located here:

* Windows (Live 4 and later versions): C:/Documents and Settings/your user name/Application Data/Ableton/Live/Preferences
* Mac OS X: /User/Library/Preferences/Ableton

Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default. Here is what you have to do to make it visible:

Windows XP/2000

1. Launch Explorer.
2. Select Tools/Folder Options/View.
3. Check "Show hidden files and folders."
