RE4 seems to be the consensus.. but supposedly it's WAY SCARY, which could be unpleasant if you're an impressionable sort of fellow.

There is a scene in that game of the main character getting beheaded by a chainsaw which is actually the roughest thing I've ever seen in a video game by lightyears.
IGN just voted it the most graphic death scene ever.
I also like Wi-Sports, which comes with the system and Zelda is amazing too.

Getting your head chopped off is awesome, but at least so far, it hasn't been that scary for me. It has many scary moments, but it never leaves you thinking "I can't play this anymore".
One thing I love about it is the camera. Even when it's 3rd person, it's really narrow, and your character covers lots of it, so many times you're minding your own business, when you suddenly turn and there's a guy 2 m away from you trying to kill you.
Also, big awesome firefights happen often, and when you face lots of enemies, they can do cool unexpected things.
Get it.

Zelda. Paper Mario is also great. Metroid is probably fantastic if you like that kind of stuff.(No multiplayer?? Thats strange considering its the first and best wii game in this category..)

I just got a Wii for my 35th bday (cuz my gf rocks!), and of course she included RE4. Haven't had much time with it yet, but I must say holding the trigger and pushing A to fire feels a bit awkward...very unnatural. However, it rules that you can aim one way while looking the other! Almost makes up for not being able to run and shoot at the same time. And knife swiping is much cooler/intuitive now, especially with the "quick swipe".
None of this matters though, because UMBRELLA CHRONICLES is going to kick so much ass!!! I'm not the type to get excited over video games, and I am damn excited!

But I'm loving the Wii, I must say. Totally sucks that RE5 won't be released for it.

Rayman is the best multiplayer (possibly the best all around) game for the Wii.
