hi..6.0.10 keeps freezing visually on my screen...the audio keeps playing. 6.0.9 is fine on my desktop machine, its just 6.0.10

i've reinstalled graphics and sound card drivers so its not that..

me too, any solution anyone out there?

I'm having the same problem. Graphics freeze alot but audio still plays.
Say if I'm just tweaking a filter on a single audio track then live will visually stop then catch up after a secound or two.

I'm running live 7 and have also had the prob in version 6, anyone got an idea?

I've been in contact with the tech guys and they recommended the following:

"Please try to delete the "Preferences.cfg" and if available, the "Undo.cfg" files from
/Users/J/Library/Preferences/Ableton/Live 7.0.1/

Also, search for a file called "cache.cfg" and delete it as well. Restart Live then."

This hasn't fixed the problem for me, but I'm starting to think this is more related to my computer than Live itself. Its only a little pause of the graphics, almost like it has to catch up with the speed at which I change parameters. And its only now and then it happens.. I guess its liveable.

If you try the tech guys solution it may remove Lives link to your Library. Its easy to restore... Just open Lives Preferences and on the file folder tap use browse to link back to its location. Mine was here: users/library/applicationsupport/ableton/library

I've e-mailed back saying the fix didn't work and I'll post what I find out.
