Changing selected armed track can take focus off live window

Here is an experiment to try.
Add some plugins to a set of different tracks, and start changing focus by hitting the arm button for each track in turn.
The first plugin in each track will be focussed with the little blue hand at the top of it in the plugin chain window.
If you have automatic opening of the plugin editors then the plugin window will also open.
Try at this point changing the focus to another window, say you open notepad for instance if you are using windows, just for the purpose of changing the current window focus.
Go back to Live and arm another track.
Now when you arm the track you previously armed, Live loses window focus and notepad comes up again.
I find this extremely strange - it has been happening to me for ages in 6.0.10 - and has only become more of an issue when using Mackie Emulation or the left/right arrow keys to navigate.
Live keeps losing focus to other windows for apparently no reason too in some cases.
Am I going crazy or can other people replicate this cause it is an extremely frustrating problem.
