Live 7 release date clues...?

I haven't been here for a while, so excuse me if I missed news on the Live 7 release date, but I saw on Digital Village that there is to be a Live 7 Masterclass on Nov 15th.

Surely, they wouldn't do a masterclass on a product still in Beta?

So will it be out within the next 2 weeks?

All they are saying is Q4, which ends December 31. Thats if it ships on time!

Wouldn't it be weird to turn up to that masterclass and be using a Beta version though?

The Herbie Hancock remix competition on the news page also ends on Nov 15th.

I wish they'd do a pre-sale type of thing. You know, where we could have it in our hands(the boxed version) on the release date. Maybe even a slight discount.

That means they would have to print the beta on the cd's.

True, but you could easily update to the final here. They do it all the time with drivers, etc. All I really need is the library and that.

they used a far earlier beta for AES. The beta is stable enough to demo the features, but probably not enough to go to release in two weeks. My 2c.

seems in the past (if memory serves) that it's been around a month from the announcement/beta, and the release.
Here's to hoping....

It's actually closer to 2 months. Live 6 was announced August 1st of last year, and it wasn't released until September 28th.

the first run is always a beta - well, an RC (release candidate)
