The scrub wheel and the fast forward - rewind buttons won't take you far. I set up markers and then use the next - previous buttons. Love the tranzport. Hve you tried it with Itunes? works quite well. Rand

Itunes? wow! I will try. What else, with my dishwasher?
Listen, do I have to press Shift every time I want switch between loop or Volume or Song Position modes?
When in position mode can you make it push the screen forward olr backward?
I do like it a lot, just got it like 1 week ago. I had a hard time choosing between the various ones and they are all not cheap!

I'm seriously considering buying this thing.
Is there any problems or anything about it you wish you could fix/change anyone?

Mine is still working great after a year or so.. The only thing was I had to modify the battery retainer clip to accept rechargeable batteries.. But I would recommend it..

For me, I got the clip to affix to top of mic stand to bring it up closer when playing.
Here is me acting like an idiot while using it (not a whole lot, but some) along with my custom controller:

3 or 4 years ago I bought a Tranzport, fooled with it for awhile, got involved in other projects, and the Tranzport gathered dust. I then got back into Live with 8.2, bit the bullet, and bought the APC40 for home studio.
The other day, I rediscovered my Tranzport, fired it up, and WOW! What a great complement to the APC40. (And, of course, very portable for live use with backing tracks on my Netbook), especially with the Paging options....
Wonder why Frontier has decided to stop production; maybe they are coming out with something new?

The best part is when you lean into the Tranzport and ride the feedback.
"I will not be denied."
