Will the optimization of 64 bit and multicore mentioned about leapord help me in LIVE if I have a power pc quad G5?

there is of course the issue that the 64 bits and multi core aren't necessarily going to be as functional for PPC computers, possibly related to the compilers used and there less than optimal use of the PPC architecture, so I would say ymmv
