How awsum wud that be?
imagine if you could trigger video clips and VJ in ableton live in real time whilst triggering audio clips, i think that a later version of live 7 or live 8 should definatly involve some sort of vj option in the session view
what does everyone else think?

Lots of people VJ with Live, either rewired to a VJ app, or using a virtual MIDI bus.
I've been using Live for DJing, VJing, lighting, and remote camera control for two years now.
You're only limited by your imagination!

I think it was Henke that said Ableton is wary of adding to much VJ-friendly features since then people will start begging for things like OpenGL support, free-frame support, native VJ effects, etc = bloat!!

I agree I think ableton should always stay an audio package but allow better communication for applications like Just Add Music so people can choose if they want video support or not but just opening and closing a video app like JAM.
Computer speeds are so incredible now however, macbook's with 4gb of RAM, dual core processing etc, there really is no problem in running Ableton and another application (JAM) while performing.
