Boiingg Monome/Max Patch (works great with Impulse)

Hi

Some of you (particularly those with monomes) may like to play with a Max patch I've put together that emulates Tenori-On Bounce Mode... minimum requirement is Max Runtime, no Monome required (but is supported!). Should play nicely on both Mac & PC.

You can pick it up here...

And read about it here...

Hi all

I posted this a while ago, and it's become very popular on the monome forum...

http://post.monome.org/comments.php?Dis ... 224&page=1

BUT YOU DON'T NEED A MONOME...

It's got a built in interface and it's seen a bunch of updates recently so that you can set up customised notes, velocities and durations and also change bounce modes on the fly...

Please give it a try...

I'm going to build a pluggo of it very soon, currently plays in max and runtime...

Cheers

+1

it's a shame it quantizes the output tho, I didn't notice any way of turning that off ?

Yeah I have a hard time with the rows and the quantize. I can only get it to work on one column of the apc 40. I thought it might be the apc but the same thing happens when I try it on my Ohm 64. anyone else? I can't seem to change the presets either. Looks great but driving me crazy.

I'll back this up, this is a great patch, also works well with mallet sounds from Collision and slow tempos.

If you got no monome (so, no funky light feedback), I think you can do exactly the same thing with Live only, with midi tracks all routed to the same track.
