Live not recognizing input

I am tapping my keyboard, and I can hear my keyboard through my PC speakers, so i know the signal is getting to my PC.
The problem is when I arm an audio track, Live doesn't seem to recognize the input, i.e. the level meter does not move. I can hear the keyboard through my speakers though. Live recognizes my sound card (Audigy 4 pro), I have all that set up. What could be wrong?
