ecoe midi back to keyboard

Hello there , Ive downloaded the demo of live 6 le and Im trying to record in midi clip using sounds from my nord lead but abelton wont echoe the midi back through to my keyboard when local is switched off . Ive noticed an option to turn on the track button for my midi interfaces output in the midi sync tab of the preferences window but it wont let me activate it does anyone know a way around this.............Cheers people..Dave
