Cubase SX, Reason, and Live?

I currently own Reason and Live and have started to look at getting Cubase or PT's. Has anyone or can you run SX (or PT's) as the Master and have Live AND Reason running as slaves? I'd like to use SX or PT's for sequencing MIDI and recording audio tracks as well as hosting plugin's. I am leaning toward SX as I am also considering getting the firewire TC Powercore. Has anyone attempted this? As far as I know, if I have enough CPU horse power I should be able to right?

sx + live + reason works fine if you have lots of cpu & ram otherwise you'll get all those glitches from lack of power.
tc powercore works very good with cubase,a must have.

There is a looping issue when rewiring Live into SX.

What looping issue is that? I have no problems at all with SX+Reason+Live...I use all three in those on stage, as a matter of fact...never had a problem.

Excellent!
Although I am curious to any non-resource related glitches (looping?) So can I run Reason rewired into Live, rewired into SX? That seemed like a logical order using SX for the final rendering and recording the sequenced hardware synths to tracks for further processing.

nope, sorry. only onew Rewire master. SX can host both Reason and Live, but you can't chain them.

To clarify, you can rewire Reason and Live both into SX at the same time, but you can't rewire Reason into Live and then Live into SX...

It's just semantics, though. In the end, yes, you can run all three synced up together quite smoothly. I do it pretty much everytime we gig.

The looping issue is with Cubase SX2 where there is a double hit (flange)at the loop point when Live cycles round to the beginning of the bar (loop).

Also, what do you do if you use less than a whole beat per minute ?Reason has no decimal point.
