Live very slow to startup if audio interface not connected

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. It could just be the driver of my audio interface though.
Live (6.0.10) is VERY slow to startup if I don't have my audio interface connected.
Before, if I didn't have an audio interface connected, it would simply revert to the internal sound card, and startup normally.
But now, it takes much longer to startup if my audio interface isn't connected, and still has my audio interface selected as the audio device even though it's not actually connected.
