If you're thinking of the new 64 bit summing, then no, it has nothing to do with 64 bit processors.

No jiji live 7 need 74 bits 8O

You not need 64bit processor, 64 bit os etc etc
And if use windows xp and need more 4gb ram, you not need move to xp64bit , or vista 64bit.

For now i sugest stay away of 64 bits, 64 bit make real differenceon server aplliances or in some rare situations like 3d rendering etc etc and on system where you need more 4gb ram, and where any sigle aplicationes need use more 2gb ram.

FOR NOW , just right now, 64 bits not really needed and not make really big improvemnt to audio users.........not for now, when ableton launch version for 64 bits.....well we see.

imagine you go for a 64bit OS, will there be any problem installing former VST' that were on your 32bit XP?

Vista 64 is still at best in Beta stage as far as pro audio apps go.
