Select Loop Brace Shortcut.... Any Clarification?

Hey,

After searching through the forums, this seems to be a consistently requested feature to be able to select the loop brace without having to use the mouse.

There seems to be no explanation as to why this ostensibly easy to implement feature still eludes us.

Can anyone shed any light?

cuz then they'll have 1 less 'feature' on v8 or...9...(!)
