Hi guys, does anyone have a damn clue when this track is going to be available?! I haven't heard anything about it for months bar the odd mention in DJ mag last month.

That's for the out of stock vinyl, though, and from what i can see it's not been released this week in vinyl or any other format.
Didn't know it was a Forbes & May special, but that does explain why Sasha had it first and was the only one to have it for a while.

Wow, I hope I someday write a single track that people are looking for, have all the backgounrd information on, and haven't been able to find for months or even know if it's ever going to be released.
Is this track streaming somewhere so I can hear what the buzz is all about?

This is nothing, there's a tune that Oakenfold used to play that was only ever listed as "Unknown" - by "Unknown". To this day hardly anyone (not event Oakenfold himself) knows who it's by.
You can hear "The Mongoose" on Sasha's essential mix from August this year (Cream, Ibiza).

Got ya. What kind of sick and twisted (selfless?) individual would want to be (un)known for producing an (un)known track that everybody wants but can't get?

Yeah it's pretty amazing that the name never materialised. Obviously someone somewhere knows what it's called, but the track now has legendary status for a unique reason so I guess that's pretty amusing in some ways.

Just d-loaded it from a mix, its is a cool track though. Although probably a bit overhyped

Still haven't heard the track but I wonder how much hype and greatness comes simply from the fact that you can't get it. There are plenty of great tracks that get way too played out and then you get sick of them and they don't seem so great anymore.

FYI, HTFR now listing this tune as launching as a test pressing next week 17th December and now also listed on SADA records (previously only listed as RebelOne 11).
