Hi,

I dont want to hear my library samples warped as i preview. How can i turn it off?

can anyone help please? im seriously pressed for time

if the song is not playing you will hear the file unwarped. ( We plan a bigger restructuring of the browser that includes nicer way to prelisten files, but the topic turned out to be to complex to put in into Live 7.0, unfortunately. )

what's happening to me is that even without the song play some sample play back at much faster or slower speeds than the original.. often with awful sounding artifacts. so its impossible to tell if a sample is what i need without loading the thing. any way around that?

kickerkeef, this is definitely not the intended behavior and should be easy to fix. if you can provide us with a reproduceable scenario this would be great. Send a mail to [email protected]. Did you try with Live7 ?
