if its possible im looking to be able to trigger whole compositions within logic from ableton however i want to b able to make use of the warp technology to control the bpm live, is this also possible?
cheers for any help itll b much appreciated cant seem to find much out about rewiring the two this way round, plenty for the reverse

impossible AFAIK. Apple refuse the idea that people might use logic as a "slave".
you need jack inserts or soundflower, then, but forget about midi and stuff. Tried it out, it's a huge mess.

Ive always wanted to be able to do this too because I have so many track written in Live and then once you rewire it into a Master host it auto-disables all of your plugins.

I never really thought of going the soundflower route though. You would basically have to use it just to record from live into logic right? And it would'nt be timed so it would essentially be just a fancier (more processor intensive) way of bouncing and then importing?

to be honest, the most convenient way to work with both is separately if possible. Instead of launching live after logic, do the opposite, but oompf, you need at least 2 gigs of ram to do that, especially in leopard/vista.
