Hi,

I have a 4/4 beat, for example.

I want to make each beat, between 0-2% off the exact mark and i want this randomly applied throughout a whole song - I dont want to do this manually.

Can anyone help at all?

Abletons random only seems to do pitch.

select all notes, cmd-u, then set a quantize percentage.

i don't think there is an un-quantize tho, it only works one way.

no

what do you mean shift with? i guess you just want it to be a lil sloppy and off he hook? i guess a 3d party plugin will do the trick. look for the tobybear midi-bundle (free and interesting)

i can't think of a better solution than recording the MIDI yourself
