how to get rid of the orange dot?

Hi,

Apologies if this has been explained somewhere already -- I've been searching the forums and manual and can't seem to figure this out, though there must be a simple solution.

Basically, I somehow enabled the Clip Offset/Nudging function in some MIDI clips, and now can't get them to launch & play normally. That orange dot shows up, and it screws up the launching of the clip every time. I've tried the Revert button, both when the clip is playing and when it's not, and looked around in the Launch Preferences, but can't figure out how to just delete the thing. The manual says the Revert button's supposed to "undo the current offset", but it only seems to make the dot disappear until the clip is stopped. When it's re-launched, the dot's back and the timing is off again.

Any suggestions any of you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Again, it's probably something really simple, but if you've ever done battle with this dot before, you'll feel my pain.

I'm using version 6.0.10, by the way, just upgraded a couple weeks ago.

Thanks a lot!

The orange dot signifies there is some automation. Find that and you can delete it and it will stop me4ssing up your clip.
Open the envelopes Tab and select "show automated parameters only".
Good luck!
