I'm still waiting for jazzmutants to respond to my request for an 85% discount on a lemur.

I upgraded. Couldn't be happier with the amazing amount of power and control I now have over Live with the Lemur and Logic with Dexter.

Beats Me, I think you can still get around $10,000 for a kidney.

You can also pay 399 euros to upgrade the Lemur to run the dual boot. Essentially making Lemur customers pay 100 euros more than the Dexter owners who get to upgrade for free.

2007 didn't really have any good Lemur news.

Dexter owners don't "upgrade for free" they purchased a different product than Lemur owners. They paid more money, and were promised a free upgrade once the firmware was ready.
I got my Lemur months ago and don't feel I am entitled to a better price just for that. I purchased the lemur without knowing Dexter would ever exist. I don't think I should now get a break on a new product cause it happens to run on the same machine.
However, I hope that 1.65 isn't the last update we will see for awhile.

Thank god, somebody else who sees it the same way I do.

Maybe we need to put some novation stickers on our lemurs and send the pics to Ableton.
Maybe they'll get the point to stop supporting MIDI controllers in the same fashion they support novation. Crippled features to match with a limited controller... Whoopie..

8 macros? I mean WTFF?
