Metronome Silent / Missing Samples

A small problem, but irritating, and hopefully easily rectified.

I'm not getting any tick tock sound out of my metronome - I've checked the preview / cue level, and I'm also getting a "sample files are missing", so I think this might be related. I recently uninstalled an older version of Live to free up some space, so I think this may have an adverse effect.

I can see the files for the metronome are stored in the Resources/Misc folder, but something has happened for it not to reference them.

Does anyone know a way of rectifying this?

Thanks

Bump. I'm having the exact same issue. I recently upgraded to Live 7. My desktop is working fine (using purchased soundcard), but my laptop (using intergrated soundcard) has no metronome sound and the samples missing error like you said.

Got a hold of support...they said to un-install/reboot/re-install. This fixed the issue. Thanks Abes!!!

I also got the same advice from Support, and this appears to be working fine now. after reinstalling

Thanks!
