damn it. i was hoping hatton knocked him silly! mayweather is a true dick, much worse off camera than on as hard as that is to believe. I hope the las vegas PD watches the HBO hype shows and charges him with criminal negligence for running three red lights in a row on the strip last week. I think were in for at least another 3 years of the money mayweather show. Hatton is the only one on the radar that has a chance of beating him IMWO.

I give cotto or even margarito a chance... I was rooting for hatton myself.

Mayweather acts like such a dick. It was messed up how he and his entourage kept trying to intimidate and talk down to hatton during the press conferences, despite Hatton being so modest and respectful. I thought it was Mayweather just trying to sell the fight, but I suppose he is a real dick even off the camera.
I was rooting for Hatton, hoping to see him cave in Mayweather's ribs but I gotta hand it to Floyd, he really destroyed him with that huge left hook. Dude landed head first into the padding in the corner.
At least Hatton has 1 up on Floyd in that he was never on Dancing with the Stars.
Sean Sherk would slam Mayweather through the floor and smash his face in.

Sad indeed, Ricky is local to me and is a damn great fighter. I think if you watch the aggression factor Ricky was the one. This is where imo he came unstuck. FM is a total tool. He dresses like one talks one and acts like one. But he beat the Hitman.....
shocker

Cotto is a great fighter but has problems with good boxers, he has a punchers chance though. margarito....no chance. Has he fought since the williams fight? He looked washed up that fight.

the red light running in 24/7 was pretty hilarious
I liked what mayweathers uncle said about rocky
he said
"they did rocky 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. The reason why those movies were so successful is because people believed in bullshit!"
I think floyds the complete boxer, he's smart, quick and strong
I was surprised Hatton lasted as long as he did - but he did put up a good fight

I used to like Mayweather but I'm beginning to not care for him anymore. He is great though, and should be considered for GOAT in his weight class.
That being said, I didn't watch the fight. I was watching Mac Danzing win the Ultimate Fighter.

everything the older mayweathers said was funny...crack does that sometimes. I thought it was laughable they didnt show mayweather training for real at all on the show.
I really cant stand watching the ultimate fighter show any more. this season they couldnt have picked more boring/unintelligent fighters. I want to see a Nick diaz vs Diego Sanchez rematch on a season finale, that would bring my attention back.

Hatton was graceful in defeat and gave a good account of himself. He's a good lad Ricky and remember he's stepped up to this weight and still looked great at least until this fight. He could return a better fighter for the experience but really I hope he quits while he still has his brain intact.
Mayweather is a great fighter but as usual he is DISGRACEFUL in everything he does, although he showed a touch of modesty for 5 seconds in giving credit to Hatton which was unexpected. Whatever, there is always someone better who will beat you eventually and when that happens you can bet your booty that unless that someone is even more obnoxious (is that possible) that people really will be cheering the day Mayweather gets a spanking.
Mayweather is smart though. He knows that everyone will tune in hoping to see him get his obnoxious ass whupped. So he keeps at it. I don;t know if the guy really is such an arrogant jerk away from the camera.

Hatton was not particularly graceful in defeat.
Hell, Floyd gave Hatton more credit that Ricky did him, and this is after Floyd KTFO'd him.
I wonder if Hatton would've ever beat Kostya Tstzu (sp?) if the ref had been like last night in not letting Ricky grab and hold so goddamn much.
Good win for Mayweather, he realized he was so far over Hatton's head that he ditched the usual super-cautious (often boring) style towards the end.
I had recently downgraded Floyd to #2 in the world behind Pacquiao, but this puts him back at the top of the heap in my book (unless Pacman beats JMM in Feb...)
Those British fans sure are classy

I worked out with a guy who use to box for his camp and heard the same thing from him and other boxers who have been around him....."hes nice to kids, good looking women and his small circle of friends...everyone one else he acts like he is better than you and will tell it to your face. He is generous to his friends but you better act like he is god." sounded like a typical personality of someone who is insecure but has alot of power.

he's a rich flamboyant boxer who happens to be the best at what he does
whether he's a nice guy or whether you like him or not is irrelevant. at the end of the day he has his family, butt loads of cash and he's the best at what he does so...
you really appreciate the people who support you - but you especially appreciate the people who hate you - it all only makes you a stronger person in the end
