things are just dandy on a macbook pro 2.1 3 gigs of ram. osx.5.1 live 7.01take a chill pill bub.

Once you´ve sorted out your fuckshit language I´m with you what means the Macbook pro, I was the first telling about lousy performance in september but no one believed me cause no one had the new mbp. Meanwhile I feel a little better specially using logic 8 with the low latency mode. Seems like we should spend the 500 bucks for a apogee duet, they say it works great. M.LO

i just bought a Santa rosa macbook and its really not all i was expecting from a mac. Live starts glitching out around 60% and although it is technically faster than my windows machine , the windows machine spanks its face off. I wonder whats with these santa rosa MB and MBP's then?

Uh-oh, I was saving up to buy a brand new MBP (15", 2.2GHz) to give me perfect performance with Live. (I mean, look at the performance test on a PowerBook G4: less than 1 track possible).
Maybe a second-hand non-Santa Rosa MBP would be better...?

My Sonica 2.4 Santa Rosa machine running xp works ridiculously well. 47% in the performance test. I can run it right up to 95% with no glitches and fluid graphics. Must be an OS thing.
