Hi,

Did you save a default preset by mistake? If so, go, in your Operating System Browser, to Ableton/Library/Defaults/MIDI effects, and delete the Chord.adv preset from there.

I saved over the Chord preset with one of my own by accident.

I tried deleting Chord.adv but that has just deleted it. Was it supposed to replace it with the original?

Hi,

The "original" preset is just a reset: all knobs are at "0" so that the sound is not changed.

I was talking about the Chord preset. Of course that is supposed to have settings. I'd saved over the Chord preset with the zero'd one.

Hi,

I'm not sure now that I've understood you in the first place? :)

What I understood is:

- You want to use the Chord MIDI plugin, with its default built-in preset which is just everything at 0 position.
- you saved a default preset for this plugin, by mistake.

If that's the case, follow my advice, and Live will use the default "blank" preset next time you'll create a Chord plugin on a track. That default is not visible anywhere, it's just built in.

Amaury

No sorry you've misunderstood.

I've saved over one of the presets for the Chord plugin. The one called Chord. First one on the list. (The same list of presets that contains ones like House for Dummies etc)

So what i'm looking for is the preset settings for that preset of the Chord plugin. Sorry I should have been clearer with my preset path in the first place rather than just saying 'Chord - Chord'

Ah! in that case, either you can get the file from someone, or, easier, you can uninstall and re-install the Basics Live Pack, from the Preferences, Live packs tab (given that you've not overwritten other presets on purpose, and like to get all defaults again).

EDIT: looking at my Library, I don't have a Chord preset, and I've got the default packages installed. Are you sure that Chord preset came with Live? Wasn't it one you created yourself?
