Ableton Live for Supercomputers

the government uses super computers considerably more powerful than what we get. And software is built in a way that we are only able to access small slices of it's power at a time. Yet Live is different. It's built for realtime manipulation. Couldn't they build it to address multiple computers?
one (or two) just to play synths/samplers with low low latency
one just using Live's effects
one playing tracks
etc, etc..
with delay compensation all synced up

Well, it would be nice to have something like logic pros "node" technology, but until then, you could always use one computer as a dedicated synth, and route all audio into your main workstation... i guess you'd need a soundcard (two, actually) with plenty of audio ins and outs, though. Or, how is realtime audio over ethernet working these days?

usb audio otherwise.
ok, that was a joke.

Holy Crap! That sounds great! Like using a spare computer as a DSP card.
Makes me think twice about predominently moving over to Live's built in plugs (ie. the Live suite).
