heard that the rex shared library update from the propellerheads site also contains code for licence check up for ableton live.

Interesting. I'm also hoping for Apple Loops support in future Live versions.

I wonder if it just means Ableton are going to have rex file support in the next version of Live, and it'll only be available on the fully functional/registered/activated version?
I know the Props recently made the format 'open' from a playback point of view, so expect to see quite a few apps adding rex support in future...

Actually, Microsoft is buying Ableton so they can compete in the market against Apple.
