getting crackles when editing with a mouse?

I'm on live 7. I noticed last night that when I edited certain things in a set I was working on last night that I got major crackles when using a mouse. editing autofilters cut off slowly back and forth would crackle like crazy but if I used my bcr2000 it was clean and smooth.
I'm on a quadcore so that shouldn't be an issue. cpu was only at like 7% and the set was very minimal.
wtf?

I thought it was a Live 7- SL remote problem only.
Looks like the crackle problem is a general Live 7 problem.
No good until fix. Come on Abes.

does your problem mirror mine exactly or could you give some more detail.

I disconnected the remote sl and that fixed the problem.

I don't use a remote sl
I do however use a padkontrol and a bcr2000. bcr2000 isn't going to leave the setup even if thats the problem, luckily the padkontrol is going to be replaced with a monome128 soon. (I know it's different but I don't really use the padkontrol to make beats and the monome will replace it nicely for my purposes)

If I'm editing almost
ANY parameter with my SL or mouse, I'm getting crackles. It doesn't happen in Live 6. I've gotta suss out what stops the crackling and I'll get back to you.

Sorry, my problem seems to be be SL related only.
My crackle problem is fixed when I turn off my SL37.
Same as lola.
I'm also running a BCR which has no problems.
Its crapping me off about the SL though. I don't want to turn it off,
or go back to Live 6.

lets keep bumping this...
bitching is the best way to get results. I'll post this in the bugs section.

Have patience , they are working on it, think its fixed in 7.02 ( as the mail sayed that i received from them)
Funny tho, you talked about the bcr that it is working flawless..
I got F****** blue screens from its driver when just hit one control on it.
Thats why i switched to a remote sl hehe

Johnisfaster, why not disconnect the bcr just once.... to see if that causes the crackles?
Maybe its just the same problem as with the remote sl, also have you tried to switch sync off in midi prefs in ableton?

I can try that just to investigate the problem, but of course that isn't an option in the long run.
Live 7 clicks... Remote SL25 - Saffire Pro10

Hey all,
I just joined this forum...
because I experience the same issue since I've upgraded to live 7.
From there click, freezes or crackles happen very often, every time when I change a parameter and not even use plugins.
One time I had a blue screen which was the first ever on my VAIO

.
Live 6 no problems... but didn't use v6 much, because I bought it to just before v7 was released.
Did try several audio and midi settings in prefences tab, but didn't work out at all.
Will check if disabling the remote will solve issue.
Config:
Sony VAIO duo T2300,1.66 GHz
Remote SL25
Focusrite Saffire Pro i/o10
Hopefully this can be solved easily, but since more users experience this I will monitor this thread and the future v7 update with great interest.
Cheers
