Ableton Forum

I just upgraded to live 7 and the drum rack is really great, i just have no idea how to sync it up with my trigger finger controller so the pads on the trigger finger change as i scroll up and down in the drum rack. Any suggestions?

Set your tf to preset 1

in live:

open MIDI/SYNC panel - select your trigger finger in the control surface menus.

Put a drum rack in a channel. When selected, there should be a blue hand in the menu bar of it.

the eight macro knobs will be assigned to the 8 tf knobs, and the pads should work as expected.
