Korg Electribe ER1

Apologies if this has been posted before, but does anyone have any idea how to sync a KORG Electribe ER1 to Live 6?
I've never had to configure a drum machine before, using a midi to USB convertor.
Any help appreciated

In Live, go into your preferences ( ctrl/cmd + , ), go the the MIDI tab, find the OUT port you have the ER-1 connected to and make sure the SYNC option is selected.
On the ER-1, press the GLOBAL button, push the down arrow to CLOCK and rotate the main command dial. My ER-1 MKII always starts on Internal mode when I power it on. The only options are Internal and External. Set it to External.
Now, when you start Live, the ER-1 should start as well.
