Phasing with parallel compression

In 7.01 I am getting phasing problems with parallel compression using a variety of compressors/limiters on a return track.

It's very very noticeable when I heavily squash the incoming signal, but seems to dissappear when I let up on the squashmess. I used to do this heaps in 6 with no issues.

I've tried 4 different comps/limiters ranging from sonalksis to Yongs W1 with the same result.

Anyone else having this issue?

Ah, so you are using external compressors. :)

Since you already thought about it yourself, try finding out if changing the Plugin Buffer size makes a differences. If you need Latency Compensation make sure to restart either Live or your Set whenever you change Plugin Buffers because else Latency Compensation wont recognize the change.

What kind of signals are you compressing? Only audio samples or Midi instruments/plugins's audio output as well?

hmmm interesting... i winder if this indicates the changes in tightness

do you have PDC enabled? if you know how much the tracks are out by then maybe you can fix it with track delay?

why not record a snippet of both channels and see if there's a discrepancy between them and where the waveforms start
