Crashes and Live residing in memory

I experienced several crashes with Live 7 now, alone 3 crashes only yesterday. Send two crashlogs to Live support already, New York's team is working on this. Anyway I will try to find a rule behind those crashes so that I can report something more specific. It seems to me that most (maybe all) of those crashes happened when I tried to delete a Midi track or switched Midi ports in Preferences.
Support already suggested to try Live without any external gear connected. I also clocked down my computer now to make sure it's not instabilities of my own system.
Like some other users on the forum I experience Live to stay resident in memory from time to time. When this happens it will keep using its reserved memory and its Rewire control. Usually the process can be killed, but once it happened that I had to shutdown in order to get rid of it.
