Have you tried: bypassing enigma, pressing the "MIDI" button at the top right, clicking on the effect variable you want to control, then move which knob you want to control it
i dont see why it wouldnt work. make sure the input on midi tracks isnt set to "all midi's in" or whatever and is set specifically to the axiom

No worries, here are a few things you need to do:
1. There's a Live pack on the downloads portion of the website that's entitled "M-Audio Axiom Tutorial" download that and install. You will access this information in the lessons portion of Live. This will give you all the config info you'll need.
2. As a forewarning, the initial response of the encoders on the Axiom are a little slow in Live, meaning that they require a bunch of turning to move the parameters. This can be improved by adjusting the velocity curve of the encoders on the Axiom. To do this, hit the "advanced" button, look over the keys and find the "velocity curve" key, hit that 2 or 3 times until "enc" comes up. That will give you three options for sensitivity. Select one, hit the "enter" key all the way to the right of the board.
3. To test the sensitivity, and also to learn how to assign things, look up to the top right corner of the live software. You will see a button labeled "midi" click this and all of the assignable controls in Live will turn blue. Click the pan on track 1, move one of the encoders to assign it, exit map mode by clicking the upper right button again.
4. Now, by turning the encoder you will change the pan of track 1. That's the basics of mapping. If the encoders don't respond the way you want, try another curve on the Axiom.
Although it doesn't pertain directly to the encoders, I did a tutorial on mapping the Axiom. Here's the link, maybe it will help a bit.

Hi,
I am facing the same problem. I have tried to midi map it but when i click on the midi map button, and try to turn the knob while having one of the parameter selected, nothing seems to comes out of it.
i guess it is something about the configuration, as in the preference tab, there isnt any value(Yes or No) under the remote column. Could anyone help me with it?
Thanks

From support:
Please make sure you have activated "Remote" in Live´s Midi/Sync preferences for the Axiom´s input port.
Furthermore, please download our Axiom tutorial, it will guide you through setting up your Axiom for the use with Live:
http://www.ableton.com/_common/download ... torial.zip
After downloading, please unzip the file and install it through Live´s file menu ("install live pack..."). Afterwards you will find it in Live´s lessons section. Click on "Click here to access all installed lessons" in the "Lessons table of contents" window - you might have to scroll down a bit to see this link.
Follow the instructions in the Axiom tutorial.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Did you check my video? I kinda went through this setup. As far as Live 6 vs. Live 7 with the Axiom, it works. I've been working on it all day.

Hi katmeho, Could i know how do i turn the Remote on? There isnt any value in the Remote column as i have mentioned for the MIDI Port; meaning that there isnt any "YES or NO" value in the Remote column. All i see is blank over there. Please help.
