im on the verge of getting an x station but may need another audio interface to use in the future (not enough outs on the x station for what i will eventually need) i know live does not support more than 1 audio soundcard/interface, but could i get round this and aggregate the x stations audio outs and the interface outs so live would recognize this as 1 device.
thanks.

Aggregate Devices works fine here! Using 8 outs from my Fireface + 2 from Mac internal. Very straightforward and happy.
In theory, any two Core Audio devices should aggregate fine. The Aggregate Device shows up in Live's audio driver prefs, and away you go.

What two internal are you aggregating??
I've tried using the digital out on my MBP along side an Inspire
or my new PodX3L, but can't seem to fix the latency using the digital out

Just the MBPro's built-in line out (analog stereo). Sorry by 2, I meant 2 channels of audio, not 2 devices.
I haven't tried aggregating the Mac's built-in spdif, though.
