Help with Acquisition 2.0

Is anyone familiar with Acquisition 2.0. I have a G4 Powerbook and a Linksys wireless router and for what ever reason Acquisition will not connect to the internet. I've tried to follow the directions on how to open the ports and still can't get online. I've called Apple they have been unable to help me. Does anyone have any experience with the program? If so please help because I'm very frustrated.

maybe your ISP is blocking those ports on your modem? shady shit like that has been happening all over the country lately. have you tried his other app, XTorrent? really very nice.

Whats the difference between Acquisition and Xtorrent? Are they basically the same thing?

Acquisition does a bunch of P2P nets like Gift, Gnutella, etc. XTorrent is just for torrents. But the way those older P2Ps are dying lately I have much better luck with torrents these days. Plus torrents are much safer (less trackable) and I find a lot less fakes, viruses etc on torrents. Try the demo and see if you like it. I think it's pretty awesome and I bought myself a license, that dude makes nice software.
