Argh! Battery+Live question

Quick question
This is bothering me because I did this long ago when I had an MPC but I just got an MPD and I am trying once again to run Battery through Live. I am sitting here with Google searches and manuals in front of me baffled. Can someone please remind me how to get Live to detect Battery as an ext in/plugin or point me in the right direction?
